It turns out the beautiful Georgia and her fellow dancing girls only accepted as a joke. So with Auld Lang Syne echoing in the distance, Charlie Chaplin's crestfallen Little Tramp, duped but still hopeful, learns the hard way that a tasty chicken and a solid guest list counts for nothing in the face of a half-arsed practical joke. The ladies, for their part, miss out on a party trick involving high-kicking bread rolls that's so awesome it could partner up with John Sergeant and still win Strictly Come Dancing.
