George Clooney

Best Film
Ocean's Eleven. Despite Don Cheadle butchering a cockney accent like Dick Van Dyke with a sock in his mouth, this Soderbergh/Clooney crime caper classic is incredibly enjoyable, immeasurably rewatchable and contains enough star power to light up Las Vagas for ten years. At least.
Notable Pairings
The Oceans Trilogy, Solaris, Out Of Sight

What's The Secret Of Their Success?
First getting to know each other after a number of respective flops (Clooney's Batman And Robin, Soderbergh's King Of The Hill) the pair realised they were kindred spirits when they worked together on Out Of Sight, sharing a similar taste in film, and generally, as Clooney puts it, "getting along well". Their friendship has proved fruitful commercially and critically, and led them to form their own production company, Section Eight Productions, in 2000.

Were They As Good With Anyone Else?
In both cases, that's a firm yes. For Clooney, there's Good Night And Good Luck, Syriana, Michael Clayton, Up In The Air the list goes on. As it does for Soderbergh, with non-Clooney works including Erin Brockovich, Traffic and Che.
