This delightful movie is made even funner by the commentary. It seems like the 2 main male stars came over for a beer and talked about making the movie. Nothing deep just fun comments. Read More

I know that the film was no great shakes, but the commentry by the author of the original book is absolutely brilliant, with so much information about the true story the film was based on - makes you wish they had stuck to making it a documentary. Read More

Ok TV series and not a film but this series on BluRay not only looks amazing but the extras are exceptional, you can have interviews with the vets rolling as you watch the episodes which fit in with each scene and aren't shoehorned into it plus the timeline gives an insight historically via newsreel footage, archive photos, maps - just incredible. The best set of extras I've ever had the pleasure to own... Read More

The black and white version is incredible and really does add a brilliant old school horror element to an already gripping film. Oh, and I have to agree, Wake Up Ron Burgandy is very fractured - but has some fantastic jokes in it. "Eat Brick! He doesn't even care!" Read More

I'm suprised not to see Blade Runner's definitive documentary 'Dangerous Days' make the list or the Imax feature 'Shooting outside the box' from The Dark Knight 2 disc. Also Paul Greengrass' directors comentary for The Bourne Ultimatum is a fantastic dissection in the physicalities of filmmaking as well as the psychological motivations behind characters and the general craft of narrative filmmaking. is on the Mallrats disc, the guys all take shots at the flick and each other, Mewes is stoned through out the whole thing. Affleck accuses Smith of having no depth, Smith proves that he doesn't know what depth is and we're introduced to Barney Affleck, who was the actual star of Mallrats. "On the 'Phantoms' DVD the say 'Mallrats' Ben Affleck", "Really?", "No, they never say 'Mallrats' anything.". Read More

Whilst I'd agree with most of the choices, I'm actually quite stunned to find the Shaun of the Dead DVD missing from this list. The entire package of that DVD was incredibly put together, from the homage-a-meter, 3 entertaining commentaries, enjoyable Plot Holes section, and much much more. I really believe it deserved a place on this list. Read More
