Comic-Con Costume Catwalk

Comic-Con Costume Catwalk

One thing Comic-Con has become famous for is people dressing up in weird and wonderful costumes. A healthy percentage of all Con-goers are sporting some kind of costume, whether it be as film stars, superheroes, anime icons or just about anything else you can think of. It all builds up to a huge event on Saturday night called the masquerade, where the best of the lot compete for the grand prize. Sadly press aren't allowed to take pictures of the masquerade - and besides, the queue was legendary - but we've been keeping an eye out for the imaginatively attired throughout the Con and compiled an extensive gallery of some of the best (and worst) this year's Con had to offer.

Americans need no encouragement to dress up, Halloween keeps the costume industry afloat ;)

9th row down, 2nd in from the right. That red haired chick's got some weird reverse clevage going on!

Great pics :)

Who the hell dresses up as the "vampires" from Twilight?

Still, Space Marine, awesome, if Bumblebee's not a statue, he's awesome, and the Supergirl behind Nacho Libre is hot.

Brilliant!! Hilarious pics, I don't know why Jesus made me crack up, he reminds me of the Family Guy Jesus! I'd love to have one of those Predator outfits and sit in the crowd watching the cricket in it....

Some cool costumes, some sexy ones (oh spandex, whatever did we do before you came along), and some, er, "interesting" ones.

Got to ask though, to the right of Bumblebee and Doctor Who?, there's a picture of a scrawny nerd with writing on his chest.
To the right of him is a woman in a black catsuit, and sitting on the floor to the left of him is a woman dressed as Ms. Marvel. Out of those three choices, you focus on the skinny bloke in his pants. For why, Empire, for why?

Also, the Spider-Woman was a bit poor...

I don't know what's worse - the fact that these people went out in public dressed like that, or the fact that I think some of them look quite cool!

I second everything that ageless stranger has said. And also, how does the Space Marine guy move?

Most of the costumes featured here are amazing.

In particular, the Bumblebee one is outstanding.

I also thought Batman & Robin looked really good.

I love cosplay-ing - it's fun to dress up, and often you get in to things half-price if you do.
