Video: Welcome To Cannes!

The first of our exclusive Cannes Video Diaries sees two brave journalists - Chris Hewitt and Damon Wise - encountering a town which - even though there's only one day to go before the Festival opens - is strangely quiet. With not a lot to do, can our heroes survive with their sanity intact? Find out in today's exciting instalment - featuring a cameo from Sam Toy!

Man, that was funny! Can't wait for the rest. Chris, are you goign to all the off-competition films, and Damon's stuck with the 3-hour arthouse contenders?
You're both lucky, I've always wanted to go to Cannes.

Haha that was amusing. Kung Fu Panda is good then? Are we to expect four stars? Or would that be telling. Isn't Indiana Jones coming out at Cannes. Surely that is the one to look out for.

Thanks, guys. Kudos to Sam for the shootin' and the cuttin'. Anyway... yes, I tend to do the more 'commercial' stuff here, and Damo does the Russian films about lesbians. Not sure who's got the better deal.

As for Kung Fu Panda, I really enjoyed it, but my opinion may not reflect Empire's etc. etc.

So, by coincidence, I'll be staying in Cannes for the next week. I'll have to make do with stargazing with the rest of the great unwashed...maybe if I work my charms I'll be hanging out with Harrison Ford on his yacht...eh?

Woohoo, nice to see the blogs (vlogs? I get confused) are back! Good start, I chuckled at the Apocalypse Now references. Looking forward to wasting time at work over the next few days with these!
