Poison Ivy
Pamela Isley to her mum, Poison Ivy is a botanical expert who can make plants do her evil will. She would risk countless human lives to save a dandelion, like a sluttier, more sociopathic Al Gore.
Would she work in Nolan's world?
Hmmm, probably not. An eco-terrorist plotline could work, although it was already explored in Batman Begins, but an ability to literally manipulate plants would look daft in the current Batman reality. Any plot of hers would probably have shades of The Happening, and nobody needs to sit through that with lower lighting and more rubber chestplates.
Who would we cast?
Is Gillian Anderson too obvious? She's got the red hair and can do a convincing boffin. Failing that, Amy Adams would be a leftfield, but probably interesting, choice.
