Martine McCutcheon
Love Actually
What Empire said: "A fairly entertaining way to spend a couple of hours, and it’s great to see so many of the UK’s best actors sharing screen space"
Martine McCutcheon
"Wow. I don't know what to say. I'm just honoured I got the part in the first place. Richard wrote the part for me. I wanted to work with him. I think he's an absolute genius and I think a lot of people agree with me. Thanks Richard for giving me the opportunity. Because as we all know, it's really easy in this country to be labelled one thing and as a result you're really limited - you don't really get the chance to do anything else if you've done certain things as an actress. So thank you for being brave and taking the chance to give me a chance. I loved the part - I loved working with everyone. Emma Thompson was so kind to me on set - a really gracious actress; she showed me how it should be done. Now I've done this one I don't know what's going to compete with it. Thanks to everyone who voted for me."

A BIG THANK-YOU!
You can't have an awards ceremony without winners thanking their partners, their agent and even God - so here are the people that Empire magazine would like to thank for (sob!) making it all possible.
