Hostel is a brutal, bloody, baleful tale that rose from the skewed imaginations of two of the most uncompromising filmmakers working today. Empire called the movie “an old-school exercise in shock and gore, with scary ideas and unblinking splatter”. Rumours of people fleeing from the cinema in terror proved to be very, very true, making Hostel your favourite worst nightmare.
