First Trailer For Dumb And Dumber To
Harry & Lloyd are back. And still stupid...

Back in March, we snagged an early look at the first trailer for Dumb And Dumber To, which sees the Farrelly brothers bringing the adult Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) and Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels) back to our screens for the first time in 20 years. The promo was aired across the pond last night and has arrived online.

Picking up the story two decades on, we’re re-introduced to Harry and Lloyd via the most ill-advised but committed prank Lloyd has ever conceived. After that, it's on to the meat and potatoes of the plot, with Harry learning he has a grown daughter and the pair setting off to find her. Naturally, they soon find themselves in the middle of various idiotic, and potentially life-threatening situations.

From the looks of this, the new film promises more of what people loved about the original: sheer, brazen stupidity and the willingness of Carrey and Daniels to throw themselves headlong into whatever happens. It's almost more refreshing given that they’re both so much further along in their careers.

With Peter and Bobby Farrelly back behind the camera and Laurie Holden, Kathleen Turner, Brady Bluhm, Rob Riggle, Steve Tom and Rachel Melvin all in front of it, Dumb And Dumber To will pratfall its way into UK cinemas on December 19. Happy (Lloyd) Christmas!

Looks like this is going to be one of those rare gems. A sequel that doesn't disappoint. More

trailer without any funny bits
Dumber and Dumber is one of the greatest comedies ever. But like 99% of directors that made their first movies in the 90s, the Farrelies have dropped turd after steaming turd. This looks like another. One for the turd-eaters. More
