Naughty New Nymphomaniac Posters Land
Not safe for anywhere

Lars von Trier's latest cinematic grenade is arcing gently towards the big screen, pin pulled and fuse lit. The marketing campaign, easily the fruitest until someone greenlights a Man From Del Monte biopic, has delivered another consignment of Nymphomaniac posters that are... erm, well, you'd better see for yourself.

As a wise woman once wrote: "Erotic, erotic, put your hands all over my collection of ageing character actors and fresh-faced newcomers."

Yes, that is Stellan Skarsgard mid-orgasm. And, we don't know how to say this: it's Tintin, too. The other cast members to get the posterus interruptus treatment are Willem Dafoe, Christian Slater, Stacy Martin, Mia Goth, Connie Nielsen, Sophie Kennedy Clark, Jens Albinus, Nicolas Boe and Udo Kier.

The teaser campaign, a cryptic collection of Nympho-titbits that has been messing with our marbles for a few months now and a slyly sexualised poster, should give away to a full-blown trailer to shed light on the characters and storyline. At the moment it's just David Duchovny shy of an episode of the Red Shoe Diaries.

Nymphomaniac will arrive in Danish cinemas on December 25. It should get a UK release early in 2014.

Top notch
Terrific - attention grabbing stuff! I'll never look at Stellan Skarsgard the same way again! Poor effort forom Uma & Shia though. More

RE: disgusting
L: dcrow1975 I have been buying Empire magazine for 20 years, and I cannot understand why you would show these disgusting posters, and who would want to watch such filth, everyone in it must be sick or broke. I really hope that you do not even rate this film, or give it the light of day. o your going into the film with an open mind then? More
