Anne Hathaway Set To Go Interstellar
She'll reunite with Chris Nolan

The Dark Knight Rises

It’s Catwoman and Bat-director! Together again! After Anne Hathaway proved to be a superbly crafty Selina Kyle for The Dark Knight Rises, Christopher Nolan is now locking down a deal to work with her again on his trip into space, Interstellar.

According to Deadline, Hathaway looks likely to sign on opposite Matthew McConaughey, whose casting was mooted at the end of March and confirmed shortly thereafter.

So, what is Interstellar actually about? Well, based on what we know so far, there will be some stars. And someone will travel between them. Er, and that's it. Nolan’s on fact lockdown again, but the history of the project at least gives some clues as to its sci-fi goodness.

Originated by Steven Spielberg in 2006 after he was intrigued by the wormhole theories of Caltech physicist Kip S Thorne, the project at first boasted a script by Jonah Nolan. It sat in the Spiel-ship for years of development cryosleep before news emerged in January that Nolan the elder would take over directing and planned to combine Jonah’s draft with an original idea of his own. With Thorne sticking around to provide technical consulting skills, we’d predict a voyage into the scientifically-vaguely-feasible. Probably with a Hans Zimmer score.

Currently set for release in November next year, Interstellar should be shooting this summer.

Now, I'm more excited!
Having been the best thing about THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, I am glad to see that Anne Hathaway will be reuniting with Nolan for INTERSTELLAR. I hope she will be just as good, and I'm also please to see that Matthew McConaughey has signed on to appear in this, giving the fact he's having a career revival. If Nolan can get Sir Michael Caine to be in the cast, then that's fine for me. I also hope that Warner Bros. will green-light that rumoured CATWOMAN solo film with Hathaway reprising her rol More

Would've preferred to see Spielberg take this on, but nevertheless I am intrigued. More

Awesome news. And who would have thought a few years back that Mathew McConaughey would be the lead in a sci-fi Chris Nolan film? Very interested and excited to see how this turns out. More
