Stallone Joins Cast Of Reach Me
For his buddy John Herzfeld

14 November 2012  |  Written by Owen Williams  |  Source: Variety

Sylvester Stallone

He's been racking up the action roles with the Expendables series, The Tomb, Grudge Match and Bullet To The Head. But it's just been revealed that Sylvester Stallone has also found time for a smaller indie project. He's been quietly taking part in an ensemble piece called Reach Me.

Sly has already finished shooting, although there are few details on the project as yet. We certainly don't know who he played yet, but the currently sketchy IMDb synopsis describes Reach Me as a film about a group of people who all have a connection to a self-help book written by a reclusive retired football coach.

The film is written and directed by John Herzfeld, previously responsible for Two Days In The Valley, 15 Minutes and The Life And Death Of Bobby Z. His friendship with Stallone dates back to at least 1986, when he played Cho in the sort-of classic Cobra. More recently, he directed the 90-minute making-of documentary for the Expendables DVD.

The rest of the cast Herzfeld has assembled for Reach Me includes Danny Aiello, Ving Rhames, Elizabeth Henstridge, Omari Hardwick, and rapper Nelly. It doesn't have a US release date yet, so when it will (ahem) Reach Us in the UK is also as yet unknown.

Agree... I'll watch him in anything too! And no matter how the bad the film is, I generally like him in everything. More
