Adele Tweets Proof She's Singing Skyfall
UPDATE: Now with official single sleeve

01 October 2012  |  Written by Ali Plumb  |  Source: Twitter

UPDATE: A single sleeve for Adele's Skyfall has been published on Facebook, and you can check it out below. It's out properly in four day's time, Friday 0.07am BST, and you can click here for more details on how to preorder it.

Plus, for a clearer look at the sleeve, head in this direction.

There have been rumours since Skyfall was first announced that Adele would be singing (and writing) its theme tune compounded by her appearance on Jonathan Ross's show in September 2011 and now, thanks to Twitter and Ms. Adkins' cameraphone, it looks like Adele will indeed be using her multi-award-winning pipes to bring Skyfall's opening sequence to life.

As eagle-eyed vision possessors will notice, the composers are Adele herself that's A . Adkins, by the by and Paul Epworth, the producer and co-writer of her hit single Rolling In The Deep.

The other name on the sheet above, J.A.C. Redford, is a film composer and orchestrator who has previously worked on the likes of The Amazing Spider-Man, Avatar and Wall-E (amongst many others).

This confirmed news comes just a few days after a new stack of Skyfall images arrived online, so just to whet your appetite for what Adele may end up singing about, here they are again for you below.

Needless to say, if you have any guesses for what the lyrics for Adele's Skyfall might be, please feel free to mention them in the comment box below.

The movie's international trailer can be found here and Empire's breakdown thereof right here. Skyfall is out in the UK on October 26.

RE: A bit generic
As uncool as it might be to suggest it, Speechless (album version) by Lady Gaga would do the job, (with a couple of lyrical tweaks) almost sounds like an attempt to get the gig. More

A bit generic
I reckon Muse would have been an edgier choice, they practically handed them a song on a plate. http://soundcloud.com/madunicorns/muse-supremac y More

Bit of an obvious yet easy choice. Sure she will do a fine job (haven't heard it yet) but would have liked to see them go a different direction. Know it's been bandied around for years, but what about Muse? If Seb Coe can make a left field choice... More

RE: Adele Tweets Proof She's Singing Skyfall
L: Ref I too have heard a tiny snippet and I think it sounds promising. agree. It actually sounds like a Bond theme for the first time in ages...is being Adele, I can imagine she'll be fucking the end. I'm not a massive fan of hers, but I appreciate she's a talented lass and I reckon is the obvious pick. More

RE:
It's so. It's on the official site. Can't say I'm particularly a fan or a hater of Adele so I'm fine with it. Have heard a little bit of the song and it seems okay but not sold yet. Will wait till I her the full thing before I make a judgement. More
