First Official Still From The Tomb Lands
Stallone and Schwarzenegger go grey

After joining up for Arsekickers Assemble sorry, The Expendables 2 Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger are back together for The Tomb, and the first official still is now on the web.

Unveiled alongside an online Wall Street Journal article on the former governor of California, it shows Stallone and Schwarzenegger in grey prison uniforms and would you believe it the Governator with grey hair.

No doubt the result of hours if not days of make-up, Arnie's less colourful locks may shock at first, but once pulses have calmed, there's a certain aged elegance about the man who once aggressively informed his co-workers to make their way to the nearest form of air transport.

The Prison Break-like plot of The Tomb sees Sly in jail after he's been framed for a crime he didn't commit and as the architect behind the super security prison he is now incarcerated in, he's got to get out of lockdown despite his own supposedly foolproof design.

In the clink, Stallone (whose character name is Ray Breslin) meets Emil Rottmayer (Schwarzenegger), a convict who wants to get out really very badly. Together, they attempt to break out the un-breakable out-able prison despite corrupt guards and psychopathic wardens.

As well as the two much-loved action heroes, the cast also includes Curtis Jackson known to many as 50 Cent Vinnie Jones, Amy Ryan, Sam Neill, Vincent D’Onofrio and Jim Caviezel, making this by no means just the Arnie and Sly show.

Helming the $70-120 million project is Mikael Håfström (1408, The Rite) and the original screenplay is courtesy of relative unknown Miles Chapman (who wrote the script to the straight-to-DVD sequel Road House 2: Last Call) with rewrites by Mirror Mirror and Machine Gun Preacher's Jason Keller.

With no confirmed date set as yet, The Tomb is earmarked for a 2013 release. But don't worry: no doubt the sound of explosions, stunts and witty one-liners will herald its arrival, so you needn't worry about missing it.

"Yo, Adrian, I'll Be Back."
I want to see Stallone and Schwarzenegger as enemies in a movie. They were supposed to be in Face/Off, a perfect project for them where both stars would've played both hero and villain, but somehow it never happened. What about Rambo Vs Commando? Judge Dredd Vs The Terminator? More

It looks like a very average (or just below) prison-break movie..... why wouldn't Vinnie Jones be in it?? More

Tango & Cash
Could it be as awesome as the similarly storylined Tango & Cash? Sly's character was called Ray in that too. Just needs a Kurt Russell sized slice of blue eyed pie to replace Arnie. Let me guess Arnie's story arc - he gets out and at the end rescues a daughter he hasn't seen for years and there's a reconsciliation(sp?)! More

I'm going to go out on a limb
and predict a two star review in advance. Putting the prisons architect in his carefully designed 'impenetrable' prison? Bloody hell, I'm going to Hollywood to write some scripts. 'Road House 3: After Hours' incoming. More
