Exclusive: The Dinosaur Project Poster
Prepare for velocirapture...

12 July 2012  |  Written by Phil de Semlyen

Occasionally, amid all the floaty heads and dark, shadowy posters, comes something so clever and original that it makes us want to dance around like giggling eejits. It always helps if said thing has a dinosaur in it - we like dinosaurs around here - which, as you won't be surprised to discover, The Dinosaur Project does. Click below for a closer look.

If it's half as much fun as this poster, the story of the doomed (OK, "ill-fated") 2011 mission to the Congo could be a sharp-toothed treat.

The pitch - 'Blair Witchosaurus' - sends a father-and-son team into the African jungle with a tasty professional TV crew in tow who hope to capture footage of actual real-life dinosaurs. Nope, they're not extinct at all but roaming the planet and probably a little peckish. What follows, we're guessing, is not so much Walking With Dinosaurs as Running The Hell Away From Them.

Find out when The Dinosaur Project is released in UK cinemas on August 10. More on the film at the official site this way.

Nifty poster for a shit-looking film.
Yeah yeah, its a neat poster n'all, but has anyone actually seen the trailer? Its on youtube and it looks utterly atrocious. We're talking Asylum level of special effects, camerawork and acting here. This is one film you should skip. More
