New Ghost Protocol Image Released
Cruise does moody in a hoodie

Given the violence that has erupted in several cities across the UK in the last couple of days, Paramount debuting a promotional image of Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol looking moody in a hoodie surrounded by flaming rubble might be seen as a tragic coincidence. But the image has indeed arrived and can be seen below.

Cruise is back as Agent Ethan Hunt, forced to go on the run once again when he and members of his IMF team are framed for a massive, explosive attack on Russia. Effectively burned by their own country, they’re forced into deep cover to find out what’s really going on.

Joining Cruise on the team this time around are Simon Pegg as returning tech boffin Benji Dunn, Ving Rhames as veteran agent Luther Stickell, Paula Patton as Jane Carter, and the more enigmatic characters Brandt (Jeremy Renner) and Trevor Hanaway (Josh Holloway).

With Brad Bird in charge, the film also features the likes of Lea Seydoux, Tom Wilkinson, Anil Kapoor and Michael Nyqvist.

Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol is out on December 2.
