Hear Part Of The Tron Legacy Score
And get ready for the preview night...

With just a couple of months to go until Tron Legacy hits our screens, Disney is ramping up the full promotional blitzkrieg. Today’s nuggets include a proper look at electronica masters Daft Punk in their costumes from the movie (they have a cameo), a tiny snippet of their score – the first time proper official tracks have been released outside of trailers and one or two promo events details on the most exciting part – and Tron Night, where a lucky few who score tickets will get to see an extended chunk of footage.

Let’s start with Tron night, shall we? Much after the fashion of last year’s Avatar preview, the Mouse House will be showing off around 20 minutes of scenes from the movie at various IMAX cinemas in the US and around the world on October 28. You can click on over to the official site for full details (US readers be warned that tickets are selling out fast, and at time of writing this, the international section wasn’t actually up and running yet).

Meanwhile, over at the film’s Facebook page, you can hear part of one of the tracks, The Game Has Changed, composed especially for the movie by the electronica duo, with the soundtrack album itself due to arrive on December 7.

Finally, you’ll be shocked to learn that the Punk lads have gone in a radical new direction for their Tron Legacy costumes. All right, not so much. But then, they were influenced by the original film in the first place…

Ahhh deleting my entire first post Empire mods (including my opinion on the soundtrack), just because I found out how to effectively get the tickets before the site staff, poor show guys. even then the story itself still isn't providing the direct link, or the actual password to get the preview tickets...
