Full Social Network Trailer Online
With actual, moving footage this time...

So far, the trailer campaign for David Fincher’s look at the difficult birth of Facebook, The Social Network, has been a smart, intriguing, and original, using Facebook-style text over dialogue from the film. Now the slightly more traditional theatrical trailer is here, and it’s just as good.

Featuring an amazing choral cover of Radiohead’s Creep, the footage flits from the Facebook we all know to the drama that unravelled as Mark Zuckerberg and his collaborators first sparked to the idea of taking the college social experience and making it available in the world through one big virtual site. Except it wasn’t quite as easy as that, with conflicting personalities, copyright claims and a major investigation.

Featuring Jessie Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake and more, The Social Network really does look like something special. With a script by Aaron Sorkin and Fincher’s usual directorial fastidiousness, we’re seriously excited for this one. Take a look at the footage below and see if you’re ready to hit “like”.

The Social Network arrives in cinemas on October 15.

RE: Pretty Good
That is one of the most inviting trailers I have seen in a while. I don't get why there is so much negativity about this movie online. Facebook has become the most visited website on the internet in a very short space of time. I remember starting university and hearing about this weird basic website called The Facebook and thinking WTF. I'm interested in watching this to scout out Rooney Mara (Lisbeth 'Hollywood' Salander) too. I expect an oscar nod for best adapted screenplay for Social Networ More

Altough i wasn't keen on the Curious Case of BB, Fincher is one of my favourite director's. This trailer is the best trailer produced of any of his films, except maybe Fight Club. Bring it on More

RE:
Living legend David Fincher's signature gorgeous direction and colour palette... a Trent Reznor score... a great trailer... ...and yet I'm still not excited about this movie!? Why would I give a shit about the legal wranglings behind a social network website?!! I'm just crossing my fingers and going purely on the presence of Fincher that this is more than just "Facebook's really popular, let's make a film about it"... I'm guessing there's an engaging story in there somewhere... but I just More

Impressive
good deal of melancholy going on here, promising indeed. We know Fincher is good at adapting historical events with a clean accuracy and this trailer just makes it look all the more brilliant, can't actually wait More

Mind changed.
The teasers and this trailer have really made me want to see this film now, who knew you'd be able to get a thriller vibe from the creation of Facebook? More

Can't Wait
This looks so good! As an addict of facebook it should be cool to see how facebook was invented and the whole story around the copyright of facebook! jesse eisenberg playing the creator? is interesting because it something he's never done before! and fincher directing, i love seven and fight club, and he brings his creepiness to the movie, it does seem a bit creepy and i don't know why, very excited. I hadn't been massively concerned up to this point (in spite of normally loving Fincher) but this trailer's impressed me.  I'm definitely excited about it now.  More
