Jack Nicholson Off To LASt VEGAS?
It’s Grumpy Old Men meets The Hangover!

22 April 2010  |  Written by James White  |  Source: Vulture blog

Just imagine the “research” he’ll do if he signs on… Jack Nicholson is being tempted to star in LASt VEGAS, the story of a group of old friends who reunite in Sin City to see the last remaining bachelor among them married off.

Vulture reports that the script has been whipped up by Dan Fogelman (who wrote on both Cars and Bolt, and is behind the as-yet-untitled new comedy starring Steve Carell), and follows four men who were friends in the ‘50s, but who have since become estranged, as they get back together for the party.

An offer is out to Nicholson for the central role of Billy, the twinkly-eyed bachelor who causes problems when he and another of the group, widower Paddy, fall for the same female lounge singer.

There’s no word on if he’ll take the part – or who might nab the other roles (paging Leslie Nielsen! Time to star in something decent again!), but it looks like the youngsters won’t be having all the fun at bachelor parties this year.
