I did exactly the same thing, Acho. The dust cover came straight off the 4th book, and I curled back the covers of the others - the friend I borrowed them from was not happy!
I don't think there will be any surprises in the review, the Twi-freaks will have given up on Empire by then, surely. Enough of them have been booted out of here... ... Read More

How was the book? I noticed the big poster for it at the cinema this week. What I assume were suppose to be cuts on Pattisons face actully looked like lipstick marks - not sure if that was what they were aiming for.
The book was definitely a teen girl thing. Probably Emo girls too. (oh no another stereotype!)
At one point I actually believed it was starting to pick up and get a bit exciting, after having ploughed through 300 plus pages of Mills &... Read More

I must say i sit on the fence here as i can see totally where all the piss taking is coming from, the simple fact is that this film has gone into hype over-drive in so many places that it is very ripe for ribbing. And let's face it - it is a girlie flick all about sex at the end of the day. The books were average, i have read all four, and to be honest a bit whiny and self-indulgent. But then the story is pitched at a certain audience, young adult. Compared with the US there has been hardly any ... Read More

Ok, so maybe I am over senstive and maybe James' humour is too subtle for my over wrought mind. I did chuckle at an old Twilight article heading from around comic-con time, the "Say it with me, eeeeeeeeeeeeeee" or whatever it was, I have a sense of humour somewhere round here... ... Read More

I'm sure James Dyer & Empire were just being cheeky with that header and having a bit of a dig at stereotypes, a la Jeremy Clarkson and his Truckers comment on Top Gear.
I don't think any insult was meant by it.

Now you've done it. There will be a Daily Mail style witchhunt calling for Dyers head.
