A week before it arrives in the UK, Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire will play out of competition at the Rome Film Festival. Heralding that announcement, Lionsgate have released a ream of new stills.
With them comes the news that threequel (and fourquel) Mockingjay has racked up yet another cast member in Broadway diva Patina Miller.
On screen, Miller is best known for a run on the soap All My Children a few years ago, but she's since made a name for herself on the musical stage. She played Deloris Van Cartier in Sister Act, both in the West End and on Broadway, to the tune of multiple award nominations. This year she's been similarly praised in the Broadway revival of Pippin.
In Mockingjay she'll play Commander Paylor, leader of the District 8 rebellion and thorn in the side of President Snow.
Mockingjay is in production right now, with the first half set for a release in November 2014. Catching Fire is out in the UK on November 21 this year.
