The Rock On Expendables 3 Rumours
'The Expendables aren't ready for me...'

As anyone who's listened to the latest Empire Podcast will tell you, we're fans of The Rock round these parts, so when we got the chance to speak to him during the G.I. Joe: Retaliation press tour we first had to ask him about a Luke Hobbs / Fast & The Furious spin-off movie - more details on that exclusive here - and then about his chances of appearing in Expendables 3.

Here below is the tongue-in-cheek response from the walking man mountain, who gives us an "exclusive" in the form of a jokey dismissal. "The Expendables aren't ready for me, " he says, ominously.

Then there's the question of questions - the question on everyone's lips: what giant insect/animal with The Rock be riding in Journey 3 after his bumblebee adventure last time? His response will surprise you. Hopefully. Maybe.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation is out next Friday, March 27. Journey 2 is out on Blu-ray and you should consider buying it, if only to see the following scene in HD.

I can see why Sly Stallone wouldn't cast The Rock in The Expendables, he doesn't want to look bad standing next to that man mountain and who can blame him? Stars are vain as hell. As for what insect Dwayne should ride in the next Journey movie, he should go for dung beetles and have them rolling him along. I'd buy THAT for a dollar! More

C'mon Sly, put Johnson in the next one already!!!
I mean seriously, the first two ar brilliant. The 3rd one sounds crap with the direction its going. No Sly, the movie doesn't need young IT types. It DOES need big bruisers becaues isn't expendables a throwback to the old actioners of the 80's and 90's?!?!? Who better to embody the next generation of action hero then The Rock?! More
