The Numbers Station Trailer Arrives
Cusack has to keep the code...

Coming across as a blend of Safe House and Panic Room, The Numbers Station finds John Cusack and Malin Akerman under threat in a CIA facility. Check out the trailer below via Yahoo.

The Numbers Station sees veteran CIA agent Emerson Kent (Cusack) in his boss’s bad books after his latest mission goes badly wrong.

Handed a last chance, he’s assigned to protect Katherine (Akerman) the civilian code expert who works at a remote, classified agency station where encrypted messages are sent and received. It’s Kent’s job to make sure she’s safe if things go wrong there.

So what happens? The toaster overheats. Oh, and an elite team of armed assailants lays siege to the station, break in and broadcast a specific message. Now it’s up to the agent and the code operator to find out what they sent and find a way to stop a deadly plot before it’s too late...

US audiences will see this one on April 26, and it's out in the UK on May 27.

Your Comments

No.
Doesn't look like a very good action, small scale action movies do their best to invest time in the characters but this seems like a pretty diar and overly familiar plot, and the trailer just makes it look pretty dull. More

Cusack rocks
even in not so good movies, he rocks! Except for 2012, that was just boring. More
