The Jameson Empire Awards are fast approaching and with them your last chance to enter the Done In Sixty Seconds competition, now in its fifth year. First we had Tom Hiddleston spreading the DISS love; now Samuel L. Jackson has sat down to give his advice to up-and-coming filmmakers as well.

He also talks Avengers at some length, and makes it clear how much he loved working with his director, Joss Whedon. That's good news for Nick Fury fans who are looking forward to seeing him again.

Take a look at the video above, and if you can think of a way to remake an existing film in 60 seconds or less, get going on it and enter it in this year's competition over this way.

If watching films is more your speed, vote for the best of the year right over here.
