Game Of Thrones Season 3 Promo Online
'The game's been upped...'

We’ve had to wait months for anything substantial from the new series of Game Of Thrones, which promised a lot of tantalising new locations and plot strands in its third year. While there isn’t much in the way of footage in the featurette from HBO above, there is at least the cast and crew talking up the show.

While they all seem quite pleased with what they’ve pulled off (and, let’s face it, given what the team has delivered in the first two series, why wouldn’t they be?), we’re also given glimpses of the new locales and a run down on the focus of the series.

From the looks of things, there are plenty of new people and plots in store (in a show that is always stuffed full of both). Plus, of course, there’s some Dinklage chat.

Game Of Thrones is set to hit in early 2013. Given that it returns in the US on March 31, that likely means either the same day or shortly after here in Blighty…

Incidentally, if you’re a Thrones fan who somehow missed it, take a minute (or 26) to enjoy our Podcast interview below with Neil Marshall, who brought the fantastic Blackwater episode to life this year.
