New Hobbit TV Spot Walks In
'I know you doubt me...'

With all the trailers, footage releases and now these TV spots, we’ve seen a lot of chunks from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. But this latest spot is something special, giving Martin Freeman a moment to truly shine as Bilbo. Check it out above.

Despite the seeming promotional overload, what we’ve seen of the film just serves to make us that much more excited to see the whole thing. And allowing Freeman to demonstrate the perfect blend of Bilbo’s comedic and dramatic sides should help convert a few naysayers.

As you should surely be aware by now, the first part of the trilogy finds Bilbo approached by Gandalf (Ian McKellen) to join a quest led by dwarf Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) to recover treasure stolen by the dragon Smaug.

Boasting the likes of Hugo Weaving, Christopher Lee, Cate Blanchett, Andy Serkis, Elijah Wood, Ian Holm, Lee Pace, Sylvester McCoy, Aidan Turner, James Nesbitt and Billy Connolly, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hits UK screens on December 13. And now some IMAX 3D versions will carry a certain interstellar treat attached.

Meanwhile, to keep your anticipation bubbling, why not pick up the latest Empire, which is bursting with exclusive Hobbit content. Or listen to the entire soundtrack right here.
