New Holy Motors Poster
Now for something completely different

Leos Carax's latest film caused something of a stir at Cannes, where the reaction of the world's cineastes to Holy Motors was largely along the lines of "I don't know what it is, but I like it". Now its UK release on September 28 is fast approaching, there's a new poster for the film - and here, for your delectation / confusion, it is.

The film, we're pretty sure, is about Denis Lavant's Monsieur Oscar, a man who travels between parallel lives. Stretch limousines are also involved, with his chauffeur Celine (Edith Scob) driving him through streets as he changes between elaborate disguises and seems to enter different worlds. Eva Mendes plays the model at a fashion shoot which he disrupts, and Kylie Minogue a former employee.

Holy Motors is directed by Leos Carax and hits the UK later this month. We loved it, but there's no denying that it's a little offbeat. Prepare yourselves.
