Director Lee Daniels arrived in Cannes this year with The Paperboy, his follow-up to the terrific-but-tough Precious: Based On The Novel Push By Sapphire. And this time he's got a star-studded cast, led by Nicole Kidman, Matthew McConaughey, Zac Efron and Macy Gray. Yes, you read that cast list right. I'm sure your maturity levels are in the same vicinity as those of a mother superior eating extra mature cheddar. Mine are more in line with Pob's. It was just a light-hearted, unamused prod at what was, no doubt, another tiresome publicity photo. You smell and get a life... L: Nicky C ... about the person saying it than it does about the target. It shows a lack of maturity that one would be reluctant to associate with fans of Empire. More
