You might want to turn all the lights on and repaint your house a cheery shade of yellow, because The Woman In Black is approaching and it's going to be really creepy. Perhaps a spare teddy bear or comfy blanket might be a good idea too, judging by this poster.

As you'll all know by now, Daniel Radcliffe stars in this period piece as the young lawyer sent to sort out the estate of a recently deceased recluse. But once at Eel Marsh House, all sorts of unsettling things occur, and Radcliffe's Arthur Kripps becomes seriously wigged out.

The film also features Ciaran Hinds, Janet McTeer and Roger Allam, and it's all directed by James Watkins and screenwritten by Jane Goldman. Screw your courage to the sticking place and go see it when it opens on February 10.

RE: Oh dear
Poor poster design full stop. Should have been a shot looking over the shoulder of the woman in black towards DR, with DR placed in the image big enough to be recognisable, but visually dominated by the image of the woman in black, and looking at her, not us. Then the title of the film, the tagline and the poster concept slot together, because they then all reflect the film, whereas the image opted for may as well have the tagline: without the Harry Potter glasses on, Daniel Radcliffe looks li More

Oh dear
Looking forward to the film, but the poster is very much "Harry Potter and the Woman in Black". More

RE: The Woman In Photoshop
Hilarious: this may well end up being scarier than the Woman herself. He has clearly been photographed in a studio, and then it has been stuck into what is otherwise quite a nice creepy poster and then, for some unaccountable reason, had the artist decide that matching the lighting would be obvious and generic, and that what's really needed is a piss poor alternative that makes him look, as mentioned by another poster, decapitated. The Woman In Photoshop
WOW! The only thing scary about this poster is the photoshop! Why does it look like his head doesn't fit on his neck? Why are his eyes glow in the dark? I won't be able to sleep tonight thinking about this poster! More
