New Other Guys Clip Arrives
Lion vs tuna! Who wins?

15 July 2010  |  Written by James White  |  Source: Moviefone (Via Coming Soon)

There should be no doubt that, were they to face off mano a mano, Mark Wahlberg could probably take down Will Ferrell. Though Ferrell has a height advantage and is not exactly unfit (he runs marathons for fun), Wahlberg is a pugnacious fighter who would resort to dirty tricks. But in a verbal sparring match about the abilities of different creatures? No contest, as shown in this new clip from The Other Guys.

We’ve seen a couple of trailers already for the latest collaboration between Ferrell and director Adam McKay, but this is the latest clip to go online, which focuses on the less-than-cohesive partnership between the two police officers.

The Other Guys finds Ferrell and Wahlberg as a pair of cops that generally get forgotten about – they’re not the heroes, like Sam Jackson and Dwayne Johnson’s preening, butch types. They do the grunt work and usually get stuck with desk time.

But the movie will see them taking on a case that no one else wants to handle, a seemingly innocuous crime that turns out to be one of the biggest that New York has seen. Do our two overlooked officers have what it takes to succeed? We’ll find out on September 17.

Laaame
This scene actually goes on a lot longer with Ferrell taking the joke a lot further... and it's a lot funnier too! More

Come in number Ferrell, your time is up.
Wakey wakey. Will Ferrell was funny one and a half times. Anyone who has bothered to check out his SNL output will know that he's even more hit and miss than Mike "Fuckchops" Meyers, and that's saying something. Book that place in the retirement home now, Will. More
