It's no big surprise really: Dennis Dugan has worked with Adam Sandler five times already, including the currently-shooting Grown-Ups, so the fact that Dugan's set to make it sixth by directing Jack and Jill should come as no surprise to anyone. Lest you had forgotten / blocked it out, Jack and Jill will see Sandler play twins - one male, one female. That's right people: he's going to be in drag, because that so often works well for modern comedians. Someone get those who saw Norbit back out from where they're shivering under the table, will ya? The movie will be a romantic comedy, although we're not sure yet who'll be doing the romancing (please let it not be incestuous), and should go into production sometime later in the year. Bet you all wish you'd gone to see Funny People at the cinema now, so Sandler might've stuck to straighter fare, don't cha? |
