Get Him To The Greek Trailer Is Here
Russell Brand embodies rock music!

12 February 2010  |  Written by James White  |  Source: Apple

The first trailer for the Jonah Hill/Russell Brand comedy Get Him To The Greek has arrived online over at Apple.

Featuring the return of Brand’s OTT rock-cock Aldous Snow from Forgetting Sarah Marshall, the new film finds young music assistant Aaron Greenberg (Hill, playing a different character from his stardom-obsessed waiter in Sarah Marshall) charged with getting the musical muppet from London to LA for an anniversary concert.

That’s easier said than done when the man you have to babysit is a hard-partying lush lothario who’d rather hit the clubs than hop on a plane. And what follows is a whirlwind adventure for the pair, featuring head-banging sex, drug overdoses, Pulp Fiction homages and “putting the candy in the jar” (you’ll have to watch the trailer for that one.)

While the idea of giving Brand’s supporting turn more of the focus this time was a risky one, he and Hill have a fun chemistry and there are a few decent laughs in the promo.
