Ashley Judd Joins The Tooth Fairy
Starring alongside Dwayne Johnson

04 September 2008  |  Written by Chris Hewitt  |  Source: Variety

Don’t you think it’s about time Ashley Judd made a comeback? She agrees, apparently, for she’s just signed on to star in The Tooth Fairy, the upcoming comedy alongside Rock ‘The John’ Dwayneson.

Judd – who was a big star in the late 90s/early 00s, having made approximately 387 identikit thrillers has fallen off the radar of late, with roles in the likes of William Friedkin’s underrated and underwatched Bug keeping her out of the public eye.

So it’ll be good to see her get back on the commercial horse with this Michael Lembeck-directed Fox comedy, in which John ‘The Dwayne’ Rockson plays a minor league baseball player who has to, for reasons at which we can only guess, fill in for The Tooth Fairy.

Judd will play The Dwayne’s girlfriend, a single mother of two kids. Which is pretty damn risky for a big family film in these fire and brimstone times.

The film starts shooting in Vancouver in October. Bring a jumper, Ashley - it's cold up there.

Johnson the Dwayne Rocks
Although I feel he is slipping into the Arnie Kindergarden Cop era trap. The Rock rocks when hes cool. More
