Poster And Trailer For Passengers
Anne Hathaway-starring thriller

02 September 2008  |  Written by Helen O'Hara  |  Source: Shock Till You Drop

Well, she's had success in kids' films, fantasy films and rom-coms, but it looks like Anne Hathaway's all growed up, because now she's starring in a full-on supernatural thriller in Passengers - and the new trailer and poster are online here.

She's the grief counsellor assigned to ten survivors of an airline crash who gets more than she bargained for (of course) when her clients start dying one by one. Also, she rather unprofessionally gets involved with one of them (Patrick Wilson) who seems to have left the crash site with otherworldly powers, which is a nifty way for the universe to say "sorry for crashing your plane" if you ask us.

Passengers is out here on October 24, so prepare to be unnerved.

Hathaway Where?
When will the Photoshop-happy air-brushers realise that 'improving' your star so much that they become unrecognisable is not a good thing? Hathaway looks like some Drew Barrymore/Liv Tyler love-child in that poster. Attractive, sure, but not herself! Otherwise, the trailer looks kind of interesting and creepy but as usual I'd hope that the twist is that there's nothing supernatural going on and they're all just insane. More
