Exclusive: New Image From Wolfman
First look at Hopkins and Blunt

Universal has provided us with an exclusive new image from The Wolfman, which you can see below (as per internet law, click to enlarge). The image gives the first look at Anthony Hopkins and Emily Blunt in character, as well as the first official non-lupine look at Benicio Del Toro.

Based on the 1941 classic of the same name, The Wolfman tells of Lawrence Talbot, an actor (Del Toro) who returns to the home of his estranged father (Hopkins) after the death of his brother. Familial awkwardness becomes the least of his problems when he is attacked and bitten by a wolf and quickly takes on hairy, toothy qualities whenever the moon rises. Emily Blunt plays Gwen Conliffe, a woman for whom Lawrence develops an affection and who, to further complicate matters, was the fiancee of his brother. All is not chirpy in the Talbot household.

Wolfman in Greenwich Park!
Filming on "The Wolfman" was taking place in Greenwich Park a few weeks ago. No sign of the leads but interesting to see the crew setting up etc. Looking forward to the film. More

Joe Johnston
I think he's a terrific genre director and he did an ace job with Jurassic Park III. Any problems you may have with that movie should be directed toward the screenplay. Anyway, I think this film might just be great. More

Everything's good and fine, until I read the name Joe Johnston. I still advocate VFX blokes shouldn't direct complete movies, unless their names were James Cameron or David Fincher. More
