Katherine Heigl, she of Knocked Up, Grey's Anatomy and My Father The Hero fame, has bought the rights to Jacqueline Sheehan's bestselling novel Lost & Found, which she will produce along with her mother Nancy Heigl.

Lost & Found is the story of a psychologist who moves to a remote Maine island to work in an animal hospital, after the death of her husband.

Heigl hasn't yet announced whether she will star in the movie.
