Scorsese Refereeing The Last Duel
A historical pic possible for Marty

Martin Scorsese wants to get medieval on all of our asses. Well, he’s looking to develop and possibly direct a film about medieval France, anyway.

The director has snapped up the rights to Eric Jager’s historical book The Last Duel: A True Story Of Crime, Scandal And Trial By Combat In Medieval France. It chronicles a duel that happened in 1386 (good year, that one. Not too much rain) between two knights that was the last officially sanctioned by the king.

He hasn’t yet decided if he’ll wield the megaphone on this project before anything else (Scorsese, not the king – he’s dead, after all), but it’s definitely in contention for the slot once Marty’s through with his Rolling Stones doc.

You the man!!
I would pay good money to see any film directed by Mr Scorsese, doesn't matter what it is. His history of film making does all the talking. More

Rock on Marty !!
This will be better than any Hot Fuzz pish coming our way. Marty, you could do a film about someone puke-ing on their gonads and it would still be better than any of the shite released in 2007 !! Woo hoo !! More
