As you may have heard, Empire recently re-united the entire Goonies gang — including director Richard Donner and Steven Spielberg, the man who dreamed up the whole thing in the first place — for the first time in over 20 years. To commemorate the occasion, we asked them all to sign three original Goonies posters. And because we’re kindly sorts here, we’re giving the posters away in a once-in-a-lifetime competition.
Each poster has been scrawled upon by Spielberg, Donner, Corey Feldman, Josh Brolin, Martha Plimpton, Ke Huy Quan, Kerri Green, Sean Astin and Jeff Cohen. For a chance of getting your Goonie-loving hands on a prize every bit as precious as One-Eyed Willie’s pirate treasure, see below.
How To Enter?
All you have to do is write 100 words or less on what you'd like to see in a sequel. Your idea could involve the grown-up Goonies, a whole new generation of treasure-hunters, the Fratelli brothers' adventures in prison or an invasion of Baby Ruths from outer space - be as imaginative as you like. Who knows, your crazy plot could end up making a second Goonies film a reality!
