The fruits of French software house Delphine, Another World took two years to make and, at the time, boasted graphics and animation that blew people's minds. Inspired by the old Dragon's Lair titles, that spiced up an on-rails animation with nominal user input, Another World took things a step further, making the game entirely responsive but feeling like an interactive movie experience. As the game's geek hero, you're teleported to the title's alien planet by an experiment gone awry and must fight your way to freedom amidst hungry predators, angry aliens and the odd carnivorous plant.
