There's no conclusive proof, for example, that Kevin Spacey's Verbal Kint is actually Keyser Soze and not, say, a Soze goon. Still, that's the genius of Bryan Singer's film - that a character who remains unseen for at least 90% of the time dominates the action. And, with his tendrils of influence seemingly inescapable, Soze - whoever he is - is a truly great screen villain.
